Product Details
- Flaked Maize 1 lb is a versatile ingredient that enhances your beer-making process by adding fermentable sugars without altering the color, body, or malt flavors of your brew. This product is commonly used in various types of beers, typically making up only 10% of the total grains used. The unique attribute of Flaked Maize is its ability to impart a subtle corn taste to the finished product. This is pre-gelatinized maize, which means it's been processed to break down the starches, making it easier for you to use in your brewing process. When you choose to incorporate Yellow Corn Flakes as an adjunct in your beer recipe, you can expect a lower color in the finished beer without lowering the original gravity. This is an excellent way to produce a beer with a mild, less malty flavor. Moreover, Yellow Corn Flakes can help you achieve a drier, more crisp beer, perfect for those who prefer a lighter, more refreshing brew.Aside from beer making, Flaked Maize can also be used in cooking and baking. It can be a great addition to your cornbread recipe or as a thickening agent in soups and stews. In summary, Flaked Maize 1 lb is a valuable addition to your brewing ingredients, offering unique flavor profiles and versatility in use. Enhance your beer-making experience and explore new culinary possibilities with this product.TYPICAL ANALYSISMoisture ..................................................................... 8.0%;Extract FG Dry Basis .................................................. 75.0%;Protein Dry Basis.......................................................10.0%;Diastatic Power oLintner ..................................... negligible;Conversion Time ...................................................
