Answer: Sure. Go ahead and try them. You can also buy Grosch beer which they come with. The beer is probably more expensive. -

How do these work? Do they go in the strap or over it?
Answer: Put the strap on the guitar first. Then stretch one of these washers over the strap button, on top of the strap. -

How long do these last, do they wear out with use?
Answer: If you leave them on, they seem to last a long time. Taking them on/off will shorten life. -

Will it fit on an Epiphone Sheraton?
Answer: If your strap is not too thick and the strap no buttons are not oversize, it should. -

Why is it so difficult to heat these things up in a pan of water, if they are difficult to install?
Answer: I don't heat up the rings. I don't walk around with a pan, a bottle of water and a bottle of gas to heat the rings. It is true they are difficult to be installed, but it's better that way! Once installed, they keep the belt strongly secured in position. -

Answer: Sorry, not following your query. But the strap blocks work really well, and less expensive than buying Grolsch beer for the rubber gasket (which works too). -

Does it fit only to Fender guitars?
Answer: No, these will work on any guitar with a common strap and common strap pins. -

Will this also fit Fender's line of Squier guitars?
Answer: Yes, its just a screw hole. -

Would these fit on an acoustic-electric end pin? My hummingbird pro's end pin is larger than a regular pin.
Answer: I play a Taylor acoustic-electric, and my wife plays a Martin with an added pickup run through an end-pin jack, and we could not get these strap locks over the end pins OR the neck pins. -
