  • Question: How far apart are the fixing holes?

    Answer: The distance of the fixing holes with this SONGMICS Mailbox is 23 cm and 17 cm.
  • Question: Can you get spare keys?

    Answer: Unfortunately, we lost them too. Thank you.
  • Question: What size is the letter flap please?

    Answer: The flap is 32 cm wide and 13 cm high. You can fit an A4 envelope in easily. Cheers!
  • Question: How are the 3 viewing windows supposed to work, the plastic strip covering them is too opaque to see through it?

    Answer: The 3 viewing windows are not transparent considering the privacy. You can see if there are envelopes in the box.
  • Question: Is this postbox secure, or is it easy to flush out any post without opening it?

    Answer: This box has been good for me. It is fairly deep and post sits in it well. Someone can use a tool to get mail out but I have not seen another similar item that this is not possible.
  • Question: Is there a guarantee with the Songmics mailbox?

    Answer: Not sure, but we've had ours for over a year now and no problems. Did have a problem to start with the very high winds lifting the lid. So I put two flat magnets to weight the lid from the inside. No problem now.
  • Question: Do you do spare keys as we have lost ours!

    Answer: Sorry, no.
  • Question: Is the flap spring-loaded? If not, does it flap around and bang in the wind?

    Answer: It's not spring-loaded, but it is fairly sturdy and doesn't flap in the wind (as mine is not sheltered and is out in the open).
