FiiO Personal CD Players DM15 Editorial Review
FiiO DM15 CD Player With 24Bit R2R DAC (Red) is an innovative standalone CD player that incorporates a 24Bit R2R DAC, allowing users to enjoy music in high-quality sound without the need for an external amplifier or speakers. Users appreciate the convenience of powering the device directly from a mains power wall socket, a feature that some feel should be highlighted more in product descriptions. Many find this compact CD player a cost-effective solution for those looking to enjoy their extensive CD collections without needing a complex audio setup, and feedback indicates that despite some minor user manual issues, the sound quality is often described as warm and pleasant, providing an enjoyable listening experience. However, while it performs adequately as a USB DAC, there have been occasional reports of operational issues, such as static or whirring noises during playback.
