Flashpower Shifters Editorial Review

The Billet 6061 Aluminum Column Tilt Lever with Knob in polished black has garnered a generally positive reception from customers who appreciate its quality and aesthetic improvements over traditional plastic knobs. Users have expressed satisfaction with its easy installation and durable Construction. Many have specifically noted the significant upgrade from the old and broken knobs in their classic cars, such as a 1967 Mustang. The polished finish and solid feel of the knob have won commendations for enhancing the interior aesthetics of their vehicles. However, there are some drawbacks noted by users. The most mentioned issue is the length of the set screw, which sticks out and can interfere with the user’s hand during shifting. A couple of reviewers suggested that a shorter set screw would provide a more comfortable and practical experience. Additionally, some users encountered compatibility issues with the threads, indicating that while it fits many GM-style columns, the sizing may not be perfect for all models, leading to frustration. Overall, while the product delivers on quality and performance, potential buyers may want to Consider the set screw adjustment and compatibility aspects before making a purchase. **
