DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
About This Item
If you're looking to alleviate knee pain associated with sports injuries, overuse, or degenerative conditions, the DonJoy Performance Webtech Short Knee Brace is just what you need. Featuring an innovative three-part system, this knee brace uses a unique web structure to evenly distribute pressure over the quadriceps and patellar tendons, helping to stabilize the patella and ensure proper tracking. With a compression molded back pad that easily adjusts to optimize fit and comfort, and a four-way stretch lycra/mesh undersleeve that eliminates hot spots and provides an added layer of protection, this knee brace is perfect for those who want to keep going despite knee pain. Compared to the WEBTECH Knee Brace, the Short Knee version is about 50% shorter, making it ideal for relieving pain often associated with tendonitis, commonly referred to as runner's and jumper's knee. This knee brace is perfect for a variety of athletic activities including running, walking, cycling, water sports and more. It is also suitable for all sizes, thanks to its adjustable design.
The breathable knee brace can be worn all-day long without any discomfort. Invest in the DonJoy Performance Webtech Short Knee Brace to enjoy better knee support during all your physical activities. Nutritionist's Take
The DonJoy Performance WEBTECH Short Knee Support Brace is primarily a physical support product rather than a nutritional one. Nutritionists recognize that while such braces are essential for injury rehabilitation and preventive care, they do not offer direct nutritional benefits. The compression undersleeve can aid in improving circulation and reducing swelling, which can indirectly support recovery during adherence to a balanced diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods. However, there are potential drawbacks; prolonged use without appropriate medical advice may lead to dependency on the brace rather than strengthening the muscles. Nutritionally, it's paramount that users focus on a diverse diet that includes lean proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of fruits and vegetables to facilitate optimal recovery. Overall, while the knee brace can be a valuable tool for physical health, it should be complemented with proper nutrition for best results.
DonJoy Knee Braces DP151KB02-SGR-S Editorial Review
DonJoy Performance WEBTECH Short Knee Brace (Slime Green, Small) is designed to offer essential support while maintaining flexibility during activities like running or warehouse work. While many users appreciate the stylish fluorescent green color that enhances visibility, providing safety during night or day, there are some concerns regarding comfort and durability. Some users report that the material can apply too much pressure on the kneecap, leading to discomfort. However, those with knee problems like tendonitis find it helpful for reducing pain, especially when compared to other braces. Although the knee brace has adjustable features to ensure a secure fit, issues with the Velcro have been mentioned, indicating the need for improvement in this area.
