Trans-Dapt Engine Mounts 4226 Editorial Review
The Trans-Dapt 4226 Engine Swap Motor Mount Kit Black has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers were dissatisfied with the product, experiencing delamination issues and difficulties with fitment, others found it to be an excellent purchase that suited their specific needs. One customer expressed frustration with the motor mounts, stating that they delaminated during the break-in period and prevented them from test driving or completing their project. They also mentioned that the engine did not run hot or have excessive power that could have caused the separation. On the other hand, another customer was highly satisfied with the motor mount kit, stating that it worked perfectly for their rat rod build, even though they didn't use it as designed. They praised its quality and overall performance. Another customer mentioned that the Trans-Dapt motor mounts did not fit as well as L&L mounts and that the poly material used transmitted more vibration. One customer pointed out that while the mounts did bolt onto their 460 engine and fit into the frame mounts, they shifted the engine about 3 inches further forward than stock. They noted that this led to difficulties in fitting headers without notching the passengers side mount and frame rail, but that the mounts should work fine with stock manifolds. Overall, the Trans-Dapt 4226 Engine Swap Motor Mount Kit Black receives mixed reviews with some customers experiencing quality issues and fitment challenges, while others find it to be a well-made and suitable option for their specific application.
