The TotalBoat Thixo Fast Cure 2:1 Epoxy System is designed for bonding, filling, and repairing various materials including wood, fiberglass, and metal. This versatile epoxy offers excellent adhesion and strength, making it ideal for marine projects, DIY repairs, and craft applications. Whether you're fixing a boat hull, bonding wood joints, or creating custom art pieces, this epoxy provides a reliable solution that cures quickly and withstands challenging conditions.

How long does it take for TotalBoat Thixo to cure?

The TotalBoat Thixo Fast Cure epoxy system cures in about 20-30 minutes for handling and up to 1-2 hours for complete cure, depending on the temperature and humidity. This quick curing time makes it perfect for projects that require fast turnaround, such as expedient repairs or time-sensitive applications. In cooler conditions, curing may take slightly longer, so it's best to keep these factors in mind when planning your work.

Can I use TotalBoat Thixo Fast Cure on vertical surfaces?

Yes, TotalBoat Thixo Fast Cure epoxy is excellent for vertical surfaces due to its thick, non-drip formula. This feature allows it to stay in place without sagging, making it suitable for projects like vertical wood bonding or filling gaps in furniture. Additionally, its strong adhesion properties ensure a durable bond, even under adverse conditions, which is particularly valuable for repairs on vertical surfaces.

Is TotalBoat Thixo epoxy waterproof?

Absolutely! The TotalBoat Thixo Fast Cure epoxy system is waterproof once fully cured, making it a great choice for marine applications and outdoor projects. This waterproof quality ensures that repairs made with this epoxy can withstand exposure to water, reducing the risk of degradation over time. Does TotalBoat Thixo require mixing before application?

No, the TotalBoat Thixo Fast Cure epoxy system is a convenient 2:1 cartridge system that allows for direct application without the need for mixing. This feature not only saves time but also ensures accurate ratios and reduces the chances of improper mixing. It's particularly useful for users who may be unfamiliar with traditional epoxy mixing, making projects more accessible and efficient.

Can I tint TotalBoat Thixo Fast Cure epoxy?
