Nutritionist's Take
Pro-Stat Concentrated Liquid Protein Medical Food is designed for individuals with increased protein needs, particularly those recovering from surgery, illness, or dealing with chronic conditions. This product provides a concentrated source of protein with minimal calories, making it beneficial for weight management and muscle maintenance. The Wild Cherry Punch flavor may appeal to some users, improving compliance with protein supplementation. However, some nutritionists express concern over its sweetness, as it may contain artificial flavors or sweeteners, which could be off-putting for those seeking natural products. Additionally, the reliance on liquid protein can overlook whole food sources, which offer a broader range of nutrients. Overall, while Pro-Stat may be beneficial for specific medical needs, individuals should consider dietary preferences and consult with a healthcare professional to determine if this product aligns with their health goals.
Pro-Stat Ready to Drink Editorial Review
Pro-Stat Concentrated Liquid Protein Citrus Single Serving Pack of 24 offers a potent 15g of protein per 1oz serving, making it an ideal medical food for individuals needing increased protein intake, especially during recovery times. Though the taste may not be the best, many users have found it effective for supporting wound healing and maintaining protein levels, particularly before surgical procedures. The product is compact and easy to administer, which enhances convenience for those who don’t want to consume larger shakes. Its shelf stability for up to three months allows for flexible use, ensuring users can have it on hand when needed.
