The Amazon Basics 3 Drawer Mobile File Cabinet with Lock in black is a well-built and sturdy choice for a filing cabinet. The all-metal Construction ensures that the cabinet doesn't bend or flex like cheap wooden options. The drawers are on metal rollers/tracks and extend fully for easy access to the content located in the back of the drawers. They also have a snap/friction mechanism to keep them firmly closed, and there is a pencil tray that stays put when opening and closing the drawer. The file-holding rail system seems iffy, but it is suitable for storage. The cabinet has four wheels, and 2/4 of them can be locked to prevent it from moving around. However, it may slide slightly on hardwood floors, even with the wheels locked, although this can be resolved by filling the bottom drawer with files or adding rubber wedges behind the back wheels. The cabinet comes with two keys for the lock, but be careful not to lock them inside the drawer. It comes pre-assembled and ready to use, packaged very well to prevent damage during shipment.
