AIRPLUS Dehumidifiers Editorial Review
The AIRPLUS 4,500 Sq.Ft 70 Pint Dehumidifier has garnered mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both its strengths and some challenges. Many users found it effective at removing humidity, particularly in notoriously humid conditions like those in Miami and Texas. Customers appreciated the variety of smart modes available—particularly the sleep mode—which allows for quieter operation during nighttime use. The design of the unit was also well-received; its compact, suitcase-like size was noted for fitting unobtrusively in homes without taking up too much space. Setup and use were reported as straightforward, and several users indicated that the dehumidifier performs well enough for average household needs, especially in mid-sized areas. The water tank, though on the smaller side, was generally Considered easy to manage, and many remarked on the convenience of its features, including a handle for carrying and wheels for mobility—though some users found the wheels less effective on thicker carpets. On the downside, some customers expressed disappointment with the noise level in smaller spaces, stating that while the unit is quiet overall, it becomes more noticeable in compact rooms. Additionally, a few users mentioned issues with the gravity-draining option, indicating that the hose arrangement can be a bit finicky and is limited by elevation requirements. The relatively small tank capacity was pointed out by several reviewers as a drawback, requiring more frequent emptying in very humid environments. In summary, the AIRPLUS dehumidifier generally impresses with its performance and design but could benefit from adjustments to its drainage capabilities and a larger tank. **
