Rated: Unrated Format: DVD Drama Editorial Review
**** The miniseries "The First Lady" has garnered a generally positive reception from viewers who appreciate its insightful portrayal of the lives and contributions of the First Ladies of the United States. Many customers have expressed their enjoyment of the series, noting its informative nature and high-quality production. Viewers laud the excellent performances from the cast and the engaging storytelling, which offers a unique perspective on the roles and challenges faced by First Ladies throughout history. The inclusion of a captivating theme song also received special mention. However, the series does come with some caveats that potential buyers should Consider. A significant concern raised by viewers revolves around the lack of closed captioning or subtitles, which presents challenges for those with hearing difficulties. Many older viewers have found it challenging to understand the dialogue due to actors mumbling or speaking over one another. Moreover, the DVD set is region code 4, which means it is primarily intended for Australian and New Zealand markets, although it may still be playable on United States DVD players. Overall, "The First Lady" miniseries is well-received for its narrative and cast, but Prospective viewers should be aware of the technical limitations regarding accessibility and region compatibility. **
