Soedesco Games 9011939 Editorial Review
**Editorial Review of Shiny - PlayStation 4** "Shiny" has sparked a divided reception among players, primarily as a budget-friendly platformer that offers a blend of engaging gameplay and charming graphics. Many users praise the game for its fun factor, especially appealing to newcomers or casual gamers who appreciate a light yet entertaining experience. The gameplay aspect is commended for its intriguing level design, balancing moments of easy navigation with challenging puzzles that keep players engaged for a few hours. However, some players have expressed disappointment, particularly regarding the game’s control mechanics, describing them as inConsistent and detrimental to their overall experience. This has led to criticisms suggesting that despite the potential for a "hidden gem," the execution leaves something to be desired. Additionally, players have encountered frustrating issues with the trophy system, labeling it "glitched" and unfavorably impacting the game's reputation among competitive gamers. On the positive side, the graphics and storytelling elements have received favorable mentions, with players appreciating both the aesthetic appeal and the adventurous spirit that permeates the game. Despite its flaws, many still find value in its budget price and playful narrative. In summary, "Shiny" appeals to those looking for a light-hearted platforming experience, but it might not satisfy seasoned gamers seeking polished controls and trophy authenticity. **
