The Dial Indicator with Magnetic Base has garnered a mixed reception among its users, reflecting a blend of functionality and design-related challenges. Many users appreciate its utility, particularly praising the magnetic base for its strength and ease of positioning. This feature allows for effective adjustments on various metal surfaces, making it a valuable tool for both casual users and those in more technical fields, such as machining and welding. However, some customers have pointed out issues with the dial indicator itself. Specifically, they observed that the indicator can be jumpy and does not move smoothly, which detracts from its precision when measuring. Users have also noted that while the flexibility of the arm is a plus, achieving a stable adjustment can be tricky due to limited rigidity when the toggle mechanism is engaged. This results in challenges for those hoping to perform intricate measurements that require Consistent precision. Despite these shortcomings, many find the product adequate for light to moderate use, particularly for tasks that involve careful handling rather than heavy-duty measurements. Overall, it appears to be a tool worth Considering for those in need of a relatively straightforward and adaptable measuring solution. **
