Pointworks Backgammon Editorial Review
** Pointworks Large Backgammon Set** The Pointworks Large Backgammon Set has garnered a largely positive reception among customers, particularly highlighting its excellent value for money. Many reviewers have pointed out that this set closely mirrors expensive tournament boards, offering a premium playing experience at a fraction of the cost—priced at just $129.00. Users appreciate the quality craftsmanship, noting that the wood and checkers reflect a beautiful aesthetic that adds to the overall experience of playing backgammon, even inspiring nightly games among couples. Several aspects of the set stand out, particularly the sound and feel of the components. The wooden dice cups produce a satisfying noise when used, enhancing the tactile enjoyment of the game. The dark wood finish pairs well with the vibrant green board, creating an eye-catching design that many find appealing. Despite minor concerns regarding the cloth mat's durability and the absence of handles for easier transport, the set overall is seen as robust and functional. Reviewers have also expressed satisfaction with customer service and appreciate the solid internal magnets that secure the game during play. While some players noted slight misalignments in the hinges, these issues did not significantly hinder gameplay experience. The Consensus is that the Pointworks Backgammon Set offers a blend of style and functionality, making it a worthwhile investment for both new and seasoned players. **
