Copenhagen [DVD]

Copenhagen [DVD] Copenhagen is a film that revolves around the meeting between physicists Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg during World War II. While some viewers found the historical context and discussions between the characters to be fascinating, others felt that the film lacked excitement and was slow-paced. One of the standout aspects of the film is the portrayal of the actors, who demonstrate great skill in interpreting the mindset of two of the most brilliant minds of their time. However, the film leans more towards being a documentary rather than a dramatic film, which may not appeal to those seeking entertainment. Some viewers were disappointed by the lack of focus on quantum mechanics, which both Bohr and Heisenberg were famous for. They were hoping for more in-depth exploration of this aspect, rather than primarily being about wartime politics. Another major criticism of the film was the sound quality, with several viewers mentioning that they had trouble hearing the discussions between the characters. The piano music was also said to drown out some of the softly spoken passages. Overall, Copenhagen seems to be a film that appeals to those interested in the historical context and Consequences of the meeting between Bohr and Heisenberg. However, it may not satisfy viewers looking for a more engaging and entertaining experience.
