Schallen Sandwich Toasters & Panini Presses Editorial Review
The Schallen Panini Grill Press has received mixed feedback from customers highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. Many users have praised the appliance for its effective performance as a sandwich press, noting that it cooks items like paninis and toasties evenly and efficiently. Reviewers have also mentioned that despite its compact size, it can accommodate full-sized sandwiches, which adds to its practicality in the kitchen. The non-stick cooking plates are a significant advantage, as they make cleanup hassle-free. However, there are some notable concerns. A key complaint relates to the lack of an on/off switch, which requires users to plug and unplug the device for operation. Additionally, some reviews suggest that the appliance's bottom feels somewhat flimsy, which could impact long-term durability. More seriously, one user reported a potentially dangerous incident where the grill caused electrical issues in their home, leading to equipment failures and financial setbacks. This raised alarms about safety that overshadowed many of the grill's positive attributes. In summary, while the Schallen Panini Grill Press excels in functionality and ease of use, potential buyers should be cautious about its durability and safety features based on customer experiences. **
